Amos Wekesa was born into a life of unimaginable hardship. The level of poverty his family experienced was so extreme that his own mother, not out of dislike for him, contemplated ending his life due to their dire circumstances.

Amos Wekesa's entrepreneurial endeavors extend beyond the realm of resorts. He is also actively involved in agro-processing through his ownership of Perla Commodities, a company dedicated to adding value to grains in Uganda through processing.
