Teenage Girl Found Dead In A Drain At Accra With Hands Tied

In a sad report, a teenage girl has been confirmed dead in a bizarre environment.

The lifeless body of this teenage girl was reportedly found in a storm drain located at Ablekuma Manhean in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

Per a report by MyJoyOnline, it was revealed that the body was discovered early Thursday morning by some residents.

One of the residents who saw the body spoke with reporters and in her submission, she said;

“My child was the first person to see the body. She was waiting for a friend so they can walk to school together. But upon getting to the place, she noticed the body of the lady and came home to inform me.”

In other news, one of the top members of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Boakye Agyarko has conceded that the economy of Ghana is not in a good shape.

The former Energy Minister made this known in a recent submission he made on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Asempa FM where he also gave out some suggestions on how the government can revive the economy.

In his submission, he said;

“The economy is not in a good place. That is the first admission we have to make boldly. And we have to put plans in place that call for a collective sacrifice. Let’s share the pain. We are in a situation now where we have played so much, and now we are in dire times. We have to psych the nation for the difficulties ahead of us. We have to take our public financial management seriously and take our responsibility as citizens seriously. No one will come from anywhere to help us. We have to admit that we are living above our standards, we either come down or double up to meet those standards.

I am pursuing my own presidential ambition, for which a lot of people kicked against me right from the beginning. I will not abandon it to go and do any other thing. I am focused on what I have to do for myself and my nation. That is my focus. If you serve with all your strength and the person doesn’t appreciate it, you move on. If I cannot give something a hundred percent, I will not do it. I’m I not deserving of being the flagbearer of the NPP?”
