Ghanaian hip hop and afrobeat artiste, widely known as Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah, aka Kofi Mole, has made it known to the world, how Sarkodie helped him break through in the music industry.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nana Romeo, live on Accra 100.5 FM, Kofi Mole stated clearly that the Ghanaian rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur, Michael Owusu Addo, Sarkodie really helped him when he was an ‘underground’ artiste.
During the interview, Nana Romeo asked him these questions: So Kofi which people have really helped you in your music career? Or it is your won strength and hard work that has seen you through this far?.
Kofi Mole replied to the question by saying, “All is part of it. My producers, colleague artists and the media have really been helpful. But I think Sarkodie has been really helpful. Coming up, Sarkodie was one of the famous artists who put us on.
I met Sarkodie countless times for freestyle and the freestyle got attention. When I was coming up, I didn’t have anything but Sarkodie gave us the platform for us to begin a journey”.
Some Ghanaians after coming across this video said that Kofi Mole has really done well for appreciating Sarkodie because they all saw what Sarkodie did for him when he was coming up as a new artiste. Others also shower blessings on Sarkodie for always making it a point to support new artists in Ghana.
