Ghanaian passport holders can currently travel to 50 countries without going through the traditional visa application process — either visa-free, visa-on-arrival (VOA), or E-visa.
According to Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, speaking on the sidelines of the AU Summit in Addis Ababa, more visa waiver agreements are expected in the coming months.

With more agreements expected in March, April and May, the value of the Ghanaian passport is clearly on the rise.
