Full List of Winners of The 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) is one of the most anticipated events on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar, and this year's edition did not disappoint. The 24th edition of the ceremony, which was held on May 6, 2023, at the Accra International Conference Center, saw some of Ghana's most talented musicians walk away with various awards.

One of the biggest winners of the night was Black Sherif, who won the coveted Artist of the Year award, as well as the Hip-Hop Song of the Year award for his hit song "Kwaku the Traveler". Black Sherif has had an outstanding year, and it's no surprise that he was recognized for his talent and hard work. Black Sherif dominated the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, walking away with five awards on the night.

Other notable winners at the VGMAs included Gyakie, who won the Record of the Year award, and King Promise, who won the Album / EP of the Year award for his album "5 Star". Legendary Kofi Sammy (Yellow Sisi Dey For Corner Hitmaker) was also recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Ghanaian music industry.

The event organizers, CharterHouse, also deserve commendation for putting together yet another successful event. Despite some few challenges, they were able to pull off a memorable night that showcased the best of Ghanaian music.

The performances at the VGMAs were also a highlight of the night. Artists such as Sarkodie, Black Sherif, King Promise, Kwabena Kwabena, Ofori Amponsah, Piesie Esther, and Gyakie delivered electrifying performances that had the audience on their feet. It was a testament to the talent and creativity of Ghanaian musicians.
