The captain of the National team, the Black Stars Andre Dede Ayew has finally reacted to the defeat of the Black Stars against Uruguay leading to the exit of the team.
It was a sad day for Ghanaians yesterday after the Black Stars team lost the match against Uruguay at the FIFA world cup in Qatar.
Speaking in a press after the game yesterday, Dede Ayew disclosed how disappointed he is over their defeat and disqualification. He stated that he was expecting the best from the team than their performance yesterday. He added that everyone on the team is to be blamed for the defeat and apologized to Ghanaians for exiting from the game.
“I’m disappointed because we had the opportunity to get to the next stage . The penalty I missed is difficult to take, the game was based on details and we did not get it right”.
This comment from Dede Ayew comes after the defeat against Uruguay. Although Uruguay scored Ghana 2 goals, they also did not qualify as South Korea scored Portugal two goals which got them 6 points on the group table.
Uruguay on the other hand had only 4 points on the group table making all their efforts in vain; leading to their exit from the game as well.
