Social media prayer warriors descended on gospel singer and pastor Sonnie Badu after he shared a video of Shatta Wale’s recent concert.
According to netizens, Sonnie Badu is forgetting his ministry and slowly becoming a person of the world.
Numerous comments under his post attacked the man of God for sharing a secular concert and promoting it.
Ghana’s dancehall king, Shatta Wale made history over the weekend when he sold out the Accra Sports Stadium for his Freedom Wave concert.
Badu, like many Ghanaians, was impressed and shared a video showing the majesty of the concert.
He captioned the video: “Charles you have set another record and I am so proud of you , you performed with 2 microphones 😂😂😂😂 .. on a serious note , I have to break this record in 2023 😂😂😂 .. Paaaa paaaaa paaaaa,”

Badu’s followers tore into him for what they saw as a man of God having wrong priorities.
One fan wrote: “You’re slowly creeping into the world. If you’re a man of God appreciate things that impact heaven. There’s nothing about the show that promote the kingdom. N*dity was on display with curses and blasphemous languages all over. We love sinners but not the sin. It appears these days you prefers elevating earthly stuffs on social media than preaching Jesus and him been crucified. People are looking up to you! You can’t mix the message of heaven and the deeds of earth at the same time. Don’t get me wrong we hate none but love all.,”
Another complained: “A pastor congratulating a man leading all these CROWD to hell!!”
