Almost 200,000 Fans Sign Petition Demanding For A Replay Of The World Cup Finals Between France and Argentina

Almost 200,000 fans have signed a petition demanding shoppingmode FIFA to replay the World Cup final between France and Argentina.

A lot of controversies have started erupting regarding the playoff of the Qatar 2022 World Cup finals.

Argentina scored their first goal after Di Maria was fouled in the 18 box causing a penalty, which was put into the net by Lionel Messi.

After the final whistle was blown, they headed to penalty shootouts with 3-3, which Argentina won 4-3 on penalties.

Getting to one week later after the World Cup finals, almost 200,000 fans on social media across the world have signed a petition asking for the finals to be replayed.

According to these disgruntled fans, the penalty caused by Di Maria and scored by Messi was not a fair one to be taken.

Also, they believe France Superstar, Kylian Mbappé was fouled in the lead-up to Di Maria’s goal but the referee ignored.

In all, 198,038 signatures were signed in the agreement of the petition, as seen below.
