The Okenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin II, has commented on the growing pressure mounted on the president.
As Ghanaians complain about the current administration’s incompetence, the pressure has come with many insults.
Nana Akuffo-Addo has been booed in recent weeks and has recently clapped back, claiming that his critics will be shamed.
Reacting to the issues, the Okyenhene encouraged Ghanaians to appreciate the president for the things he has done for Ghana.
He also remarked that the insults should stop and that he sees people insulting the president as villagers’ children.
Otherwise, they must be witches because no Ghanaian raised with manners would insult an adult.

Okyenhene is the title of the Tribal King of Akyem Abuakwa, an old and powerful traditional kingdom.
He is considered the head of the Asona clan.
Furthermore, because its traditional territory is dense forest, the Okyenhene is also known as the Kwaebibiremhene.
After the death of Osagyefuo Kuntunkununku II on October 4, 1999, the current Okyenhene ascended the Okyeman Ofori Panin stool.
He is the 35th Paramount Chief to ascend the stool.
